♡ July Buys + Updates & Otakon ♡

Hey cuties~! I'm sure I've already mentioned this a bout ten times but I will be attending Otakon in August!! Yay 

This will be my first official anime convention and I'm more than excited to go dressed up as my favorite characters and meet other cuties there who love the same anime I do and share the interests as me .  If you will be attending Otakon, please comment below~! There's so much I have to say about Otakon and my preparations for it, so I will be making a separate post for that, look forward~!

In preparation for Otakon and in my never ending journey to fill up my closet with the cutest things, I did some ebay shipping about 5 days ago, and I'm expecting to receive my packages in a week and a half-- so close yet so far away ugu ;___; 
Here are the things i got:

I got baby blue seifuku, for my Mako Mankanshoku cosplay. I've been wanting to cosplay her since Kill La Kill was still airing and I'm even more determined to do it now that I have all the materials I need, now I'm only left to assemble them ^^

I also bought two cherry boys in black and pink plaid because I love both colors and I have two cords coming up with both color themes :)

As for the tights/stockings I got, I was a little bit too excited when I found these three pairs for the cheapest prices lol. The gun tights were $1 , the  hello kitty ones were $3 and the black neko were $2 ! what a bargain, most Harajuku themed webshops would sell them for $8-$13+ -- so i consider this a great find!

I've been wanting cute frill socks for a while now, but I just coulndt seem to find  fair i liked in local stores, so when  found these cuties on ebay, i had to get them! They will work perfectly for a ton of my outfits,

I also bought little devil horns in black for an original character cosplay. I have never done a cosplay for a character I designed myself, so this  is pretty exciting! Her costume also includes a kimono eep~!!!!

Ebay shopping is always so exciting because I always find what I'm looking for with the cheapest prices, it's always a bit of a problem trusting the store though, even with their reviews and stars of approval....

anyways, I'm so excited to be attending Otakon this year! I'll have a whole post about it up within the next few days, including my cosplays for all 3 days, where i got my cosplays/things I made, meets ups ill be attending etc etc -- long post!

♡ Meido outfit review ♡

♡ Hi everyone, i hope all is well~ 
I still can't believe it's 2014 already, best of luck to make it through another year! ♡

♡ As some of you already know, if you follow my instagram,I've had a maid outfit for a while now and guess what -I finally made a review on it!! I ordered it from Ebay about a couple month ago (back in October) to make sure i got it in time for Halloween, which i did! I was a vampire Alice in Wonderland!! ♡

It looks like this:

♡ I bought it from Sexyshop09 on Ebay. They sell all kinds of costumes for women, basically they are a nsfw kinda store ^///^. ♡

 ♡ Even though this is my first purchase from them, they seem to be trustworthy. I can see myself buying from them in the future. ♡

♡ I thought the store i ought it from would stuff it into a bad but they surprisingly folded 

the dress really well. ♡

♡ The outfit has three pieces to it; the head band, apron and the dress itself. ♡

♡ Without the apron it looks kinda plain, but this way i can use it any other outfit / cosplay

 ideas i might com up with. Accessories really make a difference. ^^ ♡

♡ The blue color is so bright and pretty I absolutely love it! ♡

♡ The apron is really bright white and smooth to the touch ♡

♡ Here's a little close up of it. I love the lace on it! And it has a little satin ribbon that allows 

you to tie a bow either below the lace or support the lace fabric up against you chest. ♡

♡ I wish my petticoat was fuller to add some fluffiness to the skirt, its looks a little flat. 

But i still love it!♡

My Rating:

Material & Durability : 3/5

♡ The picture on the shops' page is misleading for several reasons. The apron she has on looks like it would be fluffy with big ruffles on the bottom hem, however they turned out to be smaller, making the dress' volume appear  life-less. The material also feels very cheap and would rip easily if not handled with care.  ♡



Stitching & Design : 4/5

♡ The bow on the apron is also much smaller in real life than in the picture. The material left to tie the bow in thin and doesn't form a bow quite as full as the one on the model.  ♡




Shipping : 5/5

♡ This package was estimated to arrive  between Oct. 20 and Nov. 4, but it made its' was to my mail box only a week later.♡

Overall : 4/5

I have to rate this product a little low because the dress in a little cheap, it holds well together and looks very cute, but its very thin. I also have to wear a tutu or petticoat to get the skirt to be fluffy
